I ♥ Summer (but I'm not sure where it's hiding this year)

Is almost July but there is no sign of summer in the UK. It is unfortunately not very sunny and definitely not hot but I feel that I need to at least pretend that is summer so I found some nice summery photos. I really hope it is nice and summery wherever you are or that at least you have a nice beachy holiday planned somewhere.

The Swedish merangue cake looks absolutely delicious and I will be trying to make this very soon.

I ♥ Wetrooms

I love wetrooms!! There are so many tiny bathrooms in Europe and wetroom is the answer to the "no space to turnaround bathrooms"! They look clean and simple and definitely much bigger than they would if they had small baths or showers. The bathroom in our flat is tiny so we are also installing wetroom, can't wait for it to be finished so that I can share photos with you.

Hope you get as inspired as I did.

I ♥ Marrakesh

So many of my friends and colleagues have been or want to go to Marrakesh. I was very lucky to go last June and spent four nights in the city while enjoying the sun, sights, heat and delicious food. I though that I might share some of the photos and do a little Marrakesh city guide so hope you find it useful. It is such a special and authentic place with friendly people and beautiful colours. If you get a chance definitely try and visit. Both budget airlines Ryanair and Easyjet fly to Marrakesh from London Luton and London Stanstead Airports.

For me an absolute must is getting a taxi driver to drive you around for half a day. Taxis are not expensive and you will you see sights and interesting places as soon as you leave your hotel.

My 5 favourite things in Marrakesh:

Jardin Majorelle
Jamaa el fna Square Marrakesh (I prefer it in the evening)
Royal Tombs Marrakesh
Getting lost in Marrakesh souks
Delicious Moroccan food (it doesn't matter where you eat the food is amazing)

Here are some beautiful bedroom photos. I love how soft they look and how white bed linen looks so pretty with coloured details in the room. Whether it's flowers, lamp, headboard or curtains colour can bring so much to life.

Plants in my house

Here are some of the plants inside and outside my house. I don't know much about plants so I am very happy that they are still alive! Our garden is mostly green with a small vegetable patch with peas, cauliflower, courgettes and beetroot. My little orchid was dead for a long time so I am really excited that has now flowered.
