And another cake...

I had a lot of dinner parties recently and don't always have time to make challenging cakes so here is another which I made really quickly and was delicious! I got the recipe from a magazine in while waiting for my sis in hospital so I'm sorry but I don't have the link.

Basically:

buy shortcrust pastry

Make cream:
500g Mascarpone cheese
80g icing sugar
vanilla extract

Add blueberries on top and it's finished!

Flat renovations

Here are some more photos from our flat. I love how it's starting to look brighter, not that you would say that after seeing the first photo of our bathroom but there has definitely been progress!! I can't wait for it to be finished! New windows are in which means that everything else can be finished as well.

We have decided to put another layer of floor boards for insulation and to make it easier for a parquet to be put down and now regret not leaving it like this! I love these boards! It's too late now but it would have been a lot cheaper and it would still look cool.

I ♥ Winchester

Another little project I did recently...

I had a board where I kept on pinning random pieces of paper, photos etc. On the board I also had a list of things to do in 2012. Some of which I have already crossed off but quite a few there were still on there. This looked quite messy and because I love my newly discovered chalky matt paint I decided to paint it and this is how it all happened...

We have been looking recently for a colour for our website and I fell in love with turquoise. Not only are photos of items below turquoise but are also so beautiful.

I love the first chair it would make such a beautiful piece in a completely white bedroom.
