Coffee & Lola

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post and how much has happened. The flat is finally finished! It took a bit more than a year but we are very happy with the way it looks.

I have been trying to be vegan for the past week so we'll see how long I last.

So much has happened this year already and I am really looking forward to the summer, if it ever arrives.

I have decided to keep a monthly log of all books I read so that I can go back at the end of the year and see all the books I have read.

In January I read:

The Mistery of Mercy Close by Marian Keynes

• very cute, easy read

• Quite a dark book with good ending

• I was quite suprised by this book, different style of writing but very interesting

• This book really surprised me. It was funny but also very insighful, I started questioning why I believe what I believe when it comes to religion, beliefs, culture etc.

I don't know about you but I am not having a great Monday so I needed some cute photos to cheer me up! here are three that are very cute!!

Our bathroom in Croatia is almost finished! we are off to finish (decorate) the whole flat in Feb and I can't wait for it to be finished! Until then here are some inspirational photos of beautiful bathrooms I like.

I have been trying to be so good and eat healthy, even cutting out coffee as much as I can but seeing these delicious photos all I want to do is go and eat unhealthy, sweet, delicious food! I know that's bad but I can't wait to try making those delicious cannoli!

This was such a busy weekend, can't believe Sunday has almost finished.

I have listened to a lot of music this weekend as I have been trying to copy my cd's to my itunes (one of the things on my 2013 list).

I can't stop listening to this beautiful song, enjoy.

I love these and they are so appropriate for what's happening in my life at the moment.

I remember Polaroid photos from when I was a little girl. My sister and I took photos and then waited excitedly to see what the photo would look like. I found this amazing website called Sweetly Scrapped where you can use the photos you have and make them look really cool, like little polaroid photos.

This year started so well and then I got sick again! for like the third time in the last month! I am changing my diet and am trying to drink only one coffee a day which is very, very hard!

Last year I made a list of things I wanted to do so I am going to continue and will have a 2013 list as well. 

Here is the list of things I want to achieve/see in 2013 in no particular order!

1. Have Afternoon tea in Ritz
2. Go to a vegan restaurant
3. Visit Istanbul
4. Learn to meditate
5. Read more, watch less tv 
6. Learn to knit
7. Get fit (this should be my number 1)
8. Transfer all CDs to my iTunes
9. Discover 5 new restaurants/pubs
10. Go surfing (learn how to, I guess one lesson in Australia 10 years ago doesn't count!)

Some of these projects are amazing and so easy to do!
