Coffee & Lola

I was in London on Saturday with my friend L. and we weren't planning to but we spent all day drinking and eating. We had a really nice coffee at The Riding House Cafe which is only couple of minutes away from Oxford Circus. I love the decor there and coffee was delicious.

We then had amazing afternoon tea at Sketch the venue was absolutely amazing and so was the food. I don't usually remember toilets but if you are in London you have to go and use toilets here (I don't know if you will be allowed to but you can always try). 

Some places are just weird and beautiful, like the ones below. It always interests me when I see rooms/ buildings that look different so here are some I really like.

Yeah, the summer is finally here! I am ready to wear nice summer dresses and sandals! The only bad thing is that summer is only here until this evening and tomorrow will be cold again. anyways hope you like these.

I love shutters, they add something romantic to the room and can be replacement for curtains which then make the room look bigger and brighter.  
One thing we didn't replace in our flat in Croatia are shutters which are brown, I can't wait to have white shutters one day.

I was a really bad skater when I was younger but really enjoyed trying. Even now I still love to watch extreme sports videos.

Skateistan is the inspirational clip for the movie that brings children together in Kabul by teaching them to skate. If you have 3 mins check it out. The organisation has since starting working with children in Cambodia and Pakistan as well.

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post and how much has happened. The flat is finally finished! It took a bit more than a year but we are very happy with the way it looks.

I have been trying to be vegan for the past week so we'll see how long I last.

So much has happened this year already and I am really looking forward to the summer, if it ever arrives.

I have decided to keep a monthly log of all books I read so that I can go back at the end of the year and see all the books I have read.

In January I read:

The Mistery of Mercy Close by Marian Keynes

• very cute, easy read

• Quite a dark book with good ending

• I was quite suprised by this book, different style of writing but very interesting

• This book really surprised me. It was funny but also very insighful, I started questioning why I believe what I believe when it comes to religion, beliefs, culture etc.
