So I have been sick what now feels like forever and now more than ever can't wait for some sunshine! So in the Spring we are planning to re-do our garden (hopefully), here are some outdoor spaces that I like.
I did a post on my top 5 things to see in Rio de Janeiro, here are my top 5 things to see in Buenos Aires. 1. La Boca (the most interesting part of BA)
2. Plaza de Mayo
3. Evita Peron's grave in Recoleta Cemetery
4. Japanese Gardens
5. San Telmo Sunday Market
If you are in BA on a Sunday this is a must!
If you are vegetarian or vegan check out Picnic in central BA. Food is delicious, there is a great variety of juices and I had vegan tiramisu which was amazing.
My sister is getting married in May and I have been thinking a lot about what type of dress I want to wear. I am definitely not wearing a short dress (as I don't wear heels) and really like the look of these lovely dresses...
I had to share some of the things we did in Rio De Janeiro because we had such an amazing time there. Sometimes you need to come home and go through your photos to really appreciate your holiday, it is really hard to take everything in when you are constantly seeing new and interesting things. Here are my top 5 things to do in Rio de Janeiro:
I read a really good short story this weekend by Zadie Smith called "The Embassy of Cambodia" that deals with so many different issues of slavery, friendship, love and more (but not in a depressing way). It won't take you more than an hour to read it so if you have time check it out.
I am obsessed with storage and constantly move things around. I use pots/baskets/trays to keep things and love how simple changes can make the room look different (and more organized). Below are some great ideas on how to store things and make storage look beautiful with baskets.
This Rawsome Vegan Life. This is my newly discovered, absolutely amazing, vegan food blog! All recipes are healthy, almost all are raw and look so good! I want to try all of them!
I've had the longest break from blogging and now I'm back. 2013 was absolutely hectic so I am very happy to "start from scratch" again.I want this year to be full of relaxation, meditation, exercise and fun!
I've just come back from an amazing trip to Brazil and Buenos Aires where I've walked many kilometres every day (in the heat may I add) for 18 days so I am eager to continue "moving". I started my "30 day habit" yesterday with a 30mins cardio and meditation before going to sleep. They say that if you do anything for 30 days it becomes your habit so...
Anyway I really hope this year is full of happiness and success (what ever that might be).
